- Lead and drive the Store Operations team and act as a true supervisor of store operations.
- Work closely with the store manager to achieve optimal results.
- Monitor and manage branch operations to ensure full compliance with bank policies and procedures, as well as SBP regulatory requirements.
- Create a work environment where customers receive the best care and service.
- Ensure staff are working in accordance with bank SOPs and controls and recommend timely staff rotations. Ensure that the dual control concept is fully adhered to and confidentiality of safe and test keys/passwords is not compromised.
- All computer inputs/outputs are countersigned and output/input reports are properly sealed and recorded.
- Accompany the auditors (Internal/External/SBP, Internal Control) and coordinate compliance of audit reports within deadline.
- Monitor cash limits in safes/counters.
- Prepare and submit all kinds of official MIS/Confirmations as and when required. Address customer complaints and ensure their resolution in a timely manner.
- Ensure that account closure is performed independently and all open items of suspense, surplus, deficit and prepaid accounts are reviewed monthly and settled as per their actual value.
- Maintain security documents regularly and keep them balanced as per SOPs.
- Monitor and maintain records of all account opening and related transactions.
- Ensure daily balancing of cash book and safe is completed and necessary reports are prepared.
- Organize the processing of all departments as well as deposits, cash, bills, inbound/outbound clearing/remittances, HRD, loans, jazz cash, borrower/non-borrower accounts, collections and all banking activities in a manner that maintains internal controls, maintains customer satisfaction and minimizes operational risks. Approving and monitoring all kinds of financial and non-financial transaction requests in the system in real time and ensuring that there are no unapproved transactions at the end of the day.
- Ensuring proper manpower in key positions.
- Ensuring staff punctuality and adherence to the bank’s dress code.
- Nominating employees for training in consultation with LM.
- Maintaining close coordination and cooperation between each department of the bank to ensure smooth running of the bank.
- Monitoring staff behavior and activities and reporting any suspicious anomalies. Supervise the storage and recording of PDC, money, passbooks, spare keys, ATM combination codes and all security.
- Manage the HR and general affairs of the store staff.
- Ensure all processes are completed successfully by the end of the day and physical receipts are verified, counted and linked to user activity reports daily.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
